C.1960's Baumann "Traineau" Chair
Circa 1960's Emile & Walter Baumann "traineau" sledge chairs. These French chairs have a distinct Scandinavian inspiration but still retain a unique design. Original upholstery and beechwood frame. Baumann was one of the biggest manufacturers of "bent wood" furniture along with Thonet. They were extremely famous for their cafe & hotel furniture like the bentwood chairs, "perroquet" coat hangers and desks. Even though the company closed many years ago, cafes and bistros are still using their unmistakable pieces.
Chairs are 81cm high and the seat is 48cm from the floor. Three chairs available, price is for each.
